I am excited to tell about my first professional partnership. It’s with Pony Club Grappling Gear! This is a new company and I am so happy to help promote and support it. You can find them on facebook at facebook.com/ponyclubgrapplinggear or Twitter @ponygrappling or on Instagram @ponyclubgrapplinggear They have free shipping within Australia, $25 flat rate shipping internationally. If you’re only ordering patches shipping is only $5.
Free swag will be coming my way so that I can review it and post about it, but I will be sure to give an honest review. I will be promoting and supporting them with my blog because I believe in this company – it’s a one woman operation! I was the one who solicited the relationship. I saw PCGG on Facebook a while back and nearly screamed in joy over their logo. It was like my favorite 80’s cartoons had started doing jiu jitsu!

No no, kitty, PCGG is for PEOPLE!
I’m terribly sick of companies that promote “women first” but then use t&a to sell their products, or use “edgy” phrases that I’d feel uncomfortable wearing in front of my mom. These are sweet, cheesy, treacle-y designs. They’re not for everyone, but they’re DEFINITELY my style.
Sadly, the PCGG shirts don’t come in cat sizes, so Miau-Miau was out of luck on this one.
Upcoming I have reviews in the works for the things I was sent – including sizes and fit. I will also be interviewing Reem, the woman behind the pony. If they have promotions I’ll also be posting them here, and I’m creating a Pony Club tag.
And in fact, PCGG has a promo going on right now – you can win FREE grapple spats. They fit a size 28-30 (or “32 if you don’t mind being squashed.”). To win, follow PCGG on Instagram @ponyclubgrapplinggear and “like” the pic below.
In the mean time, go on over to Pony Club Grappling Gear’s website and check them out!
Is Pony Club Grappling Gear the kind of company you’re interested in? Do you like their styles? More importantly, DON’T YOU WANT A FREAKING GI WITH A PONY ON IT?
It makes me very happy to see grappling gear companies now who do more than pay lip service to supporting and encouraging women in BJJ. Hopefully more will follow the great example of Fenom. Along with that, I feel I can trust both Fenom and Pony Club Grappling Gear to never do a Manto, which is important to me, or associate with disreputable sexist companies like Fight Soap. I guess it’s possible, but from speaking to Triin and Reem, they both seem really cool and strongly motivated to promote women in jiu jitsu without any of that ‘sex sells’ bullshit.
Not to mention that the PCGG logo is awesome, and those spats look great! I definitely want to get my hands on those when they come out. Hopefully the shipping and customs etc from Australia isn’t too huge.Looking forward to your review, so I can work out which size to get! 😀
