After careful consideration, after much review and internal debate, I have come to an important decision.
I’m quitting BJJ to pursue my black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
That’s right. I am convinced it is the superior system. After all, look how many black belts there are. Clearly that’s an indication of how well it works.
Also, you get to break boards. BJJ doesn’t have anything like that.
Also, you get to memorize forms. Forms show how much you know.
So, I’m happy to announce that this blog will now be called Julia’s TKD blog.
I expect many of you will be making that journey with me and leaving BJJ for TKD. I will be writing about the superiority of Tae Kwon Do and about how many boards I break and the awesomeness of the forms. I expect to be a black belt in about a year. Take THAT, BJJ.
